Fear doesn’t avoid danger… it provokes it

Fear is a valued emotion to prevent dangers and trigger a quick reaction. But it is also a totally exaggerated feeling that can abnormally influence your thoughts and behavior. If you are afraid to blush, you will blush. If you are afraid of losing your train of thought you will lose it. Progressing in public speaking is also learning not to be fooled and to dissociate between fear that prevents and fear that provokes.
